Cooney & Conway

Corporate Collateral with a Social Conscience

Cooney & Conway, a Chicago law firm with over 50 years of experience in social advocacy and victims' rights, approached us in need of a full suite of beautifully branded stationery and print collateral.

It would, of course, need to look timeless and sophisticated, yet unpretentious and approachable. This is, after all, a firm with a focus on human welfare.

Cooney Conway Stationery System

We adapted and refined the firm’s existing brand, creating a cohesive palette of muted, soft tones to convey trust and stability — nothing too flashy or edgy.

The type system pairs a classic, highly legible serif with a slightly more simple and modern font, striking a nice balance between history and the contemporary.

Information is laid out to maximize white space and give the system a very clean, accessible feel — nothing is ever overwhelming or congested, everything is intentionally designed to put the reader at easy and begin building confidence.
