2011 Event Materials
For their 25th anniversary, we set out to help the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival reinvent itself from single-genre jazz fest to exuberant international celebration of jazz, blues, funk, pop and world music. The challenge? Design a campaign that would capture the renewed energy of the event and appeal to a wider audience without alienating its longtime fanbase. We designed posters, lanyards, programs and booklets, billboards and media spots, website elements and a mobile app, all of which featured a bold clash of typographic details, pattern and color. The festival saw a 60% increase in ticket sales over two years.
