Wanting to attract new visitors to the neighborhood at the height of recession in 2009, the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce recruited Firebelly to design a provocative print and digital campaign to encourage shopping local and community involvement. The visually arresting appeals, featuring playful typography and vivid graphics, represented over 100 businesses and appeared on public transit across Chicago, as well as in local print media and online ads. Feature articles and prominent placements confirmed the campaign's overwhelmingly positive reception and facilitated long-term relationships with media vendors.
